Here I am walking in Bonn, Germany, through the city center with its Christmas Markets and Beethoven House on a rainy November night in 2021. Our walk tour goes from the Dreieck to the Friedensplatz, then I head to the amazingly lit up Münsterplatz. Afterwards I walk all the way to the famous Beethoven House. Enjoy spectacular Christmas lights in the city during this walk, with many handmade goods & delicious foods to be spotted everywhere. With 165 market stalls the city center is transformed into small Christmas villages bathed in a golden sea of lights. The central squares become filled with stalls selling Christmas decorations, arts and crafts. Founded in the 1st century BC, Bonn is one of Germany's oldest cities. From 1597 to 1794, Bonn was the capital of the Electorate of Cologne, and residence of the Archbishops and Prince-electors of Cologne.
