The flea market was established in 1973 as Berlin's (Germany) first ever flea market. Here I am walking around the complete market area on a cloudy Saturday noon. Since 1978 it has had its home in front of the Ernst Reuter House in the Charlottenburg district, and in 1988 the arts and crafts market came into being. A lively young tradition has developed here, which is described by visitors from many countries as Berlin's most endearing attraction. An interesting market atmosphere awaits you, with many dealer originals, with beautiful young people, celebrities, mature connoisseurs and the rest of the inhabitants of this earth like you and me. The range is as diverse as life, from autograph cards, books, CDs, records, videos, computer games, to clothing, furniture, shoes, hats and carpets, to porcelain, jewelry, old paintings, dolls and teddy bears, you can find thousands of things of life that maybe just you would like to have. This Berlin flea market with attached art & craft market at the Tiergarten S-Bahn station is one of the largest and most traditional flea markets in Berlin. Turn on the closed captions (CC) to see subtitles with background information about the city & the area.
