We'll also briefly show you the beautiful Beethoven House at the Bonngasse 22-24, where the legendary composer Ludwig van Beethoven was born, and the magnificent Bonn Minster church, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. In this walk you can experience the rich heritage of the city, which was once the capital of West Germany. We will also stroll through some of Bonn's lively squares, where street performers, artists, and locals come together. Bonn, which used to be the former capital of West Germany, is one of Germany's oldest cities. From 1597 to 1794, the city was the capital of the Electorate of Cologne, and residence of the Archbishops and Prince-electors of Cologne. From 1949 to 1990, the city was the capital of West Germany, and Germany's present constitution, the Basic Law, was declared in the city in 1949. From 1990 to 1999, Bonn served as the seat of government – but no longer capital – of reunited Germany. Join us on this walking tour in July 2023 as we explore the city center. This video vlog was filmed entirely in 4K 60FPS with high definition binaural sound. The temperature was around 27 degrees Celsius. WATCH NEXT: 1. Japan Tag / Japan Day 2023 Full Tour: 2.
