. ▪️Have you had shoulder pain while playing sports? Maybe you were playing volleyball with some friends are your shoulder started to ache. Or you were playing baseball or softball ⚾️ and couldn’t throw anymore due to pain. . ▪️What can you do to prevent shoulder pain while playing overhead sports and raising your arm up? ? . ▪️The shoulder is a complex joint so I’ll try to keep it simple. You want to strengthen your “wings.“ Your chicken wings ? are known as your shoulder blades ( or scapula) and the muscles which attach to the scapula are important to keep you out of shoulder pain. By strengthening the scapula, your shoulder will function better. ?? .
