We followed 5,000m world champion, 2-mile world record holder and Olympic 1,500m champion Jakob Ingebrigtsen as he crushed a track session at altitude in Flagstaff, Arizona just over two weeks ahead of his season opener and title defense in the Bowerman Mile at the 2024 Prefontaine Classic. Dive into the COROS data behind the training session as Ingebrigtsen clicked off 12x400m (60 seconds rest) and 10x200m (200m jog rest, approximately 90 seconds) at Flagstaff High School. The workout takes place at an altitude of 6,932 feet.
