The Systema punch is unlike any punch I've ever felt. In this video, Menamy Mitanes shares a few tips on how Systema delivers its unique power. ►Menamy's website: ►Menamy's Facebook: ►BUY ANDO A PIECE OF PIE: (Thank you!) Here are some punching tips to remember... Power is not just the result of speed and power... it contains physical, emotional, and spiritual components. Train ALL aspects of your skills. For example, anger, fear, and frustration can all add tension into your body, which will slow you down. Learning how to control your feelings in a fight will help you stay relaxed so you can move with more power. You may also add tension into your body by punching from a boxing style stance. Crouching and dropping your chin may be great when fighting one on one, but against multiple attackers with weapons, a natural stance will give you more options. That means head straight, back straight, and feet shoulder width. As for the punch, keep your shoulder relaxed, the wrist straight, and hit with your whole fist, not just the knuckle. Instead of hitting through the target, which is a very common tip, try to put all of your energy INTO the person. THE PUSH-UP CHALLENGE! In Systema, you train good punching structure by doing knuckle push ups. For a serious challenge, try doing just ONE push-up... but make it last 2 minutes-- one minute down, one back up! No cheating! Keep your speed constant... no hurrying up or slowing down. Take the challenge and let us know if you made it! :) THANKS FOR WATCHING!
