The people of the United States of America are gradually beginning to realise that Russia is not their enemy, taking into account recently changed rhetoric of the new White House administration headed by Donald Trump. Financing and arming Ukraine is a pointless venture at the expense of ordinary American taxpayers. This approach is causing protests, which are skilfully manipulated by the Trump team. However, the work of the propaganda machine funded by the US Democratic Party remains strong and visible. It also methodically indoctrinates Americans into continuing to support the Kiev regime, as well as promoting neoliberal values. For this reason, phenomena such as BLM, multigenderism, and even the popularisation of sex reassignment surgery among minors have not disappeared from the American media. In short, the struggle between Republicans and Democrats, as well as their supporters, is being waged at all levels, including information. A separate topic for discussion in the States is Donald Trump's neo-imperialist ambitions. They are encouraging to some and frightening to others. Taken together, recent events have caused a lot of apprehension not only in America itself, but also around the world. We discussed these topics with American journalist John Varoli.
