A 65-year-old woman with liver cirrhosis and esophageal varices who is on follow-up endotherapy for her esophageal varices was referred for removal of gastric polyps. Gastroscopic examination of the stomach revealed multiple pyloric polyps. The largest one was removed using the EMR technique. First, the polyp was ligated by 2 rubber bands. then cutting of the polyp was done using a snare. Immediate minimal bleeding was obvious after the procedure. We use the tip of the snare and diathermy to stop the bleeding. The patient platelet count was 60000 and the international normalized ratio was 1.2. histopathology revealed gastric adenoma with dysplastic changes.
