Tamarind Spicy Shrimp Noodle Mix - 10-Min Must Try Recipe Ingredients • 100g egg noodles (cooked, don’t over cook it) • 7-10 shrimps (cooked, I boiled with 2 slices of ginger) • 3 garlic cloves, minced • 1 shallot, minced • 10g coriander, chopped • 10g basil, you can chop if prefer • 1 chili, sliced • 1 1/2 tbsp fish sauce, use soy sauce if you like • 40g tamarind • 1 tbsp brown sugar • 2 tsp samba oelek or chili paste, use less if you can’t eat spicy • 2 tsp cooking oil Method • 1. Place tamarind in a bowl and pour in 1/2 cup hot water. Leave it for 10 mins. • 2. Break the tamarind to separate the meat and seeds. Place a strainer over a bowl, pour the tamarind in and use the back of a spoon to crush. You get a tamarind water after this process. Set aside. • 3. Heat a pan over medium heat, add oil.
