Traditionaly in South India, ghee roast recipe is used to cook with chicken in freshly ground spices and ghee. The ghee roast masala is tangy and spicy. So now here is the egg version of it. Egg ghee roast is a spicy and flavorful dish where hard-boiled eggs simmered in a rich aromatic gravy made with ghee. #easyrecipe #eggs #gheeroast #spicy #tangy #winterrecipe Ingredients Quantity Whole coriander seeds 1 tbsp Cumin seeds 1 tsp Fenugreek seeds ¼ tsp Fennel seeds 1 tsp Black pepper 1 tsp Clove 5-6 no Cinnamon stick 1 inch Dry red chilli 4 no Curry leaves 10-12 no Onion chopped 1 no Ghee 1 tsp Curd 3 tbsp Ghee 2 tbsp Dry red chilli 2 no Ginger chopped 1 tbsp Garlic chopped 1 tbsp Green chilli chopped 2-3 no Onion chopped 1 no Curry leaves 10-15 no Garam masala 1 tsp Turmeric powder ½ tsp Jaggery powder 1½ tsp Tamarind paste 1 tsp Coriander leaves chopped 1 tbsp Eggs 2 no Egg boiled 1 no Coriander leaves chopped for garnish Method 1. Take a kadai on medium flame add whole coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, black pepper, clove, cinnamon stick, dry red chilli, curry leaves, chopped onion and ghee roast for three minute. 2. Now transfer to mixer jar. Add curd and grind into smooth paste. 3. In that kadai add ghee, dry red chilli, chopped ginger, chopped garlic, chopped green chilli and sauté for a minute. 4. Now add chopped onion and curry leaves sauté for three minute. 5. Add paste in it and sauté for 10 minute. 6. Now add garam masala, Turmeric powder, Jaggery powder, Tamarind paste, chopped coriander and mix well. 7. Now crack an egg over it and leave it for a minute. Cut the boiled egg into 1 by 8 pieces and add in it. 8. Now add chopped fresh coriander and mix well. 9. Finally side out in serving bowl and garnish with chopped coriander.
