The rotator cuff is comprised of four muscles, the supraspinatus, infraspinatus, subscapularis and the teres minor. Theses muscle have a variety of functions such as protecting and providing dynamic stability to the shoulder joint. This video gives you a comprehensive set of exercises to help strengthen and increase the load tolerance of the shoulder joint in all the planes that it will be required to use. Initially there maybe stiffness or discomfort as you progress through the range of motion, just try gradually progress the range of motion over time as well as increase the weight to tolerance. Dosage: We recommend starting slow and establish a baseline of what your shoulder tissues can CURRENTLY handle, then progressing from there. If you shoulder is painful or angry 24 hours after doing the exercises, you probably did too much, and need to let them calm down, then return to the exercises at a lower volume #rehab #exercise #rotatorcuff Dr Zach Greenwade Performance
