️ AFU POW Anton Mermerin: we were sent like meatshields As Mermerin said, we was drafted because deceived, namely, his place of employment received a letter explained the need to visit the enlistment offices to clarify his data and in 20 minutes he underwent a medical examination and sent to the unit. ’We were sent like meatshields,’ said the POW about actions of the AFU command. ’They say there are no losses but the losses are definitely great.’ The AFU serviceman said that the driver, who transported him and other mobilised to the positions, went the wrong way and the vehicle got blown up on a mine.
