Brown Rice Masoor Dal pulao combines the nutritional benefits of brown rice and masoor dal, providing a good balance of complex carbohydrates, protein, fiber, and essential vitamins and minerals. #easyrecipe #vegiterian #healthyrecipes #brownrice #masoordaal #pulao Ingredient quantity Oil 3 tbsp Bay leaves 2 no Cumin seeds 1 tsp Black pepper 1 tsp Onion chopped 2 no Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp Tomato chopped 2 no Salt to taste Potato cubed 1 no Carrot cubed 1 no French beans diced 5-6 no Beetroot cubed 1 no Red lentils soaked 2 cup Coriander powder 1 tbsp Red chilli powder 2 tsp Turmeric powder ½ tsp Garam masala 1 tsp Green chilli slit 3-4 no Ginger julienne 1 inch Curd ½ cup Water 1 litre Lemon juice 1 no Parliament brown rice soaked 1 cup Fresh coriander 2 tbsp Mint leaves 1 tbsp Method 1. Take a Handi on medium flame add oil, bay leaves, cumin seeds and black pepper and saute for a minute. 2. Now add chopped onion and ginger garlic paste and saute for 3 minutes till it turns light brown. 3. Now add chopped tomato, salt to taste, cube potato, cube carrot, French beans and cube beetroot sauté for 3-5 minute. 4. Add soaked red lentil, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, slit green chili, julienne ginger, curd and plenty of water & mix well mix, cover and cook for 15 minutes. 5. Now add lemon juice, soaked parliament brown rice, chopped coriander and mint leaves cover and cook for 15-20 minutes. 6. Switch off the heat and mix gently. Transfer into a serving plate and garnish with mint leaves. 7. Serve hot with vegetable raita.
