Today (June 22nd) is the Anti-fascist struggle day in Croatia. On June 22nd in 1941 the first Partisan detachments were formed in Sisak. Those were the first Partisan anti-fascist detachments not just in Croatia, but also in the whole Balkan region. The first Partisan struggles started on that day. On the same day Hilter attacked the Soviet Union starting the Great Patriotic War. This is a Yugoslav march (Battle of Neretva). This particular version was played in the movie Battle of Neretva, a Yugoslav movie about Croatian Partisans liberating their home from Italian and German occupation. Source:
