The tangible character of the two lovers is the woman. From the first phrase we learn about her beauty, her voice and indirectly also learn about the misery and sorrow that are part of old age. These human characteristics are overpowered by the tangible imagery - the honeycomb, the moon and the rose - highlighting the beauty and anguish. Of course, all the poem listeners know that this is the allegory of the relationship between God and Israel. Najara in his writing uses various of words combinations that appear in the Bible. In this song he uses vocabulary from the Song of Songs, the Book of Isaiah and the Book of Jeremiah. ~ ~ πππ ππ§π§ππ£πππ’ππ£π© ππ£π ππ§πππ©ππ€π£ π₯π§π€πππ¨π¨ ~ ~ The creation and arrangement of the music give a place of honor to ancient Jewish womenβ
