How old is old? 120 years? That’s how old the abandoned Valdez Mine is! An abandoned mine that old is definitely worth exploring and documenting, so I got together with Jeff from @otgexploring and hiked up a steep mining road to visit the Valdez Mine. Silver and gold were mined there back in 1903 and from 1911 to 1913 making the Valdez Mine a pretty decent producer for its time!
