In a multi-hour invasion with 20 vehicles, special forces of the IOF stormed Abu Dis, #AlQuds, earlier today, kidnapping a number of Palestinians and starting a massive fire visible from miles away after targeting a car garage with a large amount of tear gas. Violent confrontations broke out between youth and the IOF during the invasion. ️ The DFLP stated after three of its comrades were abducted: — The [invasion] attempt was to deter the youth of the town and our comrades from continuing their struggle against the occupation, its crimes, and settlers, and to stop the escalation of comprehensive popular resistance against the project to resolve the conflict, annexation, and the Judaization of Al-Quds, the capital of our independent state. The Front calls on the political leadership of the [Palestinian] Authority to align with the choice of the people represented by popular resistance and to abandon American promises and illusions, emphasizing that the occupation’s aggression will only stop with resistance and forcing it to pay for its crimes.
