Gyacinth-S crews working Artillery units of the West group of troops, around the clock, carry out precision strikes on exposed military targets, positions, fortifications, armored vehicles and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction in the zone of a special military operation. The speed of combat work is achieved due to the coordination of calculations. In this direction, crews of 152-mm self-propelled guns 2S5 Gyacinth-S work as a single mechanism. They are capable of hitting targets at a distance of 30 kilometers. On a tracked chassis, Gyacinths have armor protection, have high maneuverability, and can fire directly or from closed positions. With a minimum number of shots, fighters successfully suppress militants’ firing points, accumulations of their equipment, fortified areas, strongholds, and ammunition depots. Artillerymen receive coordinates from reconnaissance aircraft and UAV crews, immediately leave cover and arrive at positions to open fire on the enemy. In the video, artillerymen from the West group of troops using 152-mm 2S5 Gyacinth-S self-propelled guns while performing fire missions destroyed defensive structures and an Ukrainian Armed Forces tank in the Kupyansk direction. Objective control footage received from the UAV in real time made it possible to verify the destruction of targets. After live firing, the artillerymen changed firing positions to spare ones to replenish the ammunition and prevent return fire from the enemy. Join Military Wave Источник: Military Wave
