The rear axle video went really well and I'm happy with how it came out, but my restored and painted Chrysler rear axle looked out of place next to the rusty Dana 30 front axle. I decided to try and repeat a similar process by restoring the front end. Apologies in advance for the ugly welding on the track bar mount. At least it looks better than the one I cut off. I'm really happy I did it, because I found out that one of the carrier bearing races was split and had destroyed the bearing. Setting up the carrier required a lot more tedious trial and error to set up than setting up the carrier in the Chrysler rear axle restoration video. I cut out some of the shim swapping footage to make that part of the video more concise and less boring. I ended up having to buy 2 sets of bearings as well because I needed one modify one set to use as shim spacing setup bearings before pressing the real bearings on.
