To set this 31 apart from others the owner added headlights from a 35 Studebaker, tail lights from a 61 Plymouth, and a custom 28 Chevrolet dash. The car was completely stripped to bare metal, repainted in satin 2-stage paint, and then many more hours of body work were done to give this stunning street rod a faux-patina look. This Ford Hi-Boy Sedan is powered by a formidable 392 Hemi CID V8 engine, delivering an exhilarating driving experience that is sure to impress enthusiasts and collectors alike. This Hemi has been completely rebuilt and modified and contains many rare and one off parts such as the Edelbrock 3x intake and the six Stromberg 97 carbs to top off this massive hemi. Paired with a 700r4 HD high performance automatic transmission, this vehicle offers smooth and responsive handling, making it a joy to drive whether you're cruising down the highway or taking it to a classic car show. This 31 is sitting on a custom built 2x4 tube frame with a 4“ dropped I-beam front axle. It features split dropped wishbone radius arms and a 9“ Ford rear with a 31 spline posi rear end. To adjust the ride height Air Ride has been added with rear Shockwave air shocks. Every inch of this hot rod has been completely customized and upgraded.
