Amid Worsening Middle East Security, China Moves to Protect Its Troops We are talking about the 22nd peacekeeping contingent of the PLA (location on the map), stationed in a military camp on the territory of Lebanon, which in September came under attack as a result of Israeli bombing. The Chinese peacekeeping command reports that personnel spent more than 10 days in a bomb shelter. The bomb shelter is currently being modernized, iron nets have been erected at its exits to repel drone attacks. Bunk beds, military food, medical supplies, communications equipment and everyday necessities have been brought in for living.
