Former Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi announced he is entering the Alberta NDP leadership race. According to a recent Pallas Data survey, Nenshi is best positioned to maintain the Alberta NDP's current level of support. 42 per cent of respondents said they would vote for the party if he were leader, while the UCP’s Danielle Smith would get 51 per cent of the vote. Outgoing NDP Leader Rachel Notley would earn 41 per cent. But does Nenshi have support within the party he wishes to lead? Nenshi joins CPAC’s Michael Serapio to discuss his campaign and his thoughts on the national debate over the carbon tax.
