Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has pranked Canada's press office to warn Prime Minister Justin Trudeau he's coming over to “liberate“ the country. In a video posted on Instagram, Carlson teased his upcoming engagements in Canada with a caption beneath the clip stating, “See you soon, Canada“. The video features Tucker calling a Canadian government media line, asking them to pass on a message to the prime minister. “Yes, hi. I couldn’t understand the French part, but it’s Tucker Carlson calling from the United States and I’d be grateful if you’d pass a message onto the prime minister, Justin Trudeau”, he said. “We are coming to liberate Canada. We are coming to liberate Canada, and we'll be there soon. Mercí.“ Carlson made the call ahead of his trip to Calgary, where he'll share a stage with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith on January 24.
