Raats Custom Farming was filmed on location pumping out a manure lagoon on a dairy farm. This method of manure spreading is different than dragline methods as the effluent is sprayed onto the field instead of dribbled on or injected into the soil. Although there is a nitrogen loss in the process, it is a very fast method of dispersal covering a large area in a short period of time.
