my words disappear on a dry tongue and I am trying to let you know it but I’m drowning by the moment . . . I cannot believe I’m f i n a l l y posting a marissa edit!!! she has been my favorite television character for over a decade, and I’ve tried so many different edits of her over the years but this is the project that finally stuck. this song was perfect because it allowed me to capture a lot of different parts of her story -- her family struggles, her breakdowns, her loneliness, her issues with alcohol/drugs, and her ability in the face of it all to keep hoping for her fairytale. there’...s a lot of material to work with for her so of course some things had to be left out, and I tended to focus on moments that have stuck with me over the years or that I relate to personally, but all in all I’m satisfied with the end result and I hope marissa fans out there will enjoy this!
