Do you want to know more about us? Paula Vahos was born in Medellin, Colombia, and discovered yoga back in the 90s, when her city was considered the world’s most dangerous place. Yoga not only saved her life, but gave her a tool to help others. She became a sannyasi and starting traveling the world teaching yoga and meditation. She then moved to Europe, settled in Italy, started a family with Alessandro Sigismondi, and started again traveling the world with him and their son, getting authorized to teach at KPJAYI in Mysore after 4 annual trips to India and kept on teaching ever since, while helping his husband in his production company. Alessandro Sigismondi, after a degree in Communication and 15 years as a copywriter and creative director in top Italian advertising agency, discovered yoga when he met his wife Paula in 2006, became so passionate about it that he quit his job and moved with his family to India. Then he was not only authorised to teach Ashtanga Yoga, but he used his skills in communication to become the world’s main photographer and videographer dedicated to the yoga community, shooting with world’s most influential teachers like Kino MacGregor, Laruga Glaser and Dharma Mitra, and working with globally-known brands like Liforme, Mandala, Dharma Bums as well as big name studios like Triyoga in London and Pure Yoga in China.
