The new opening had an increased activity and was bursting huge splashes of lava into the air, reaching hundreds of meters. The new crater has an atipic behaviour because it has moments when it is dormant, followed by instant torrents of lava flow. In the area, it is most likely that more fissures will open without notice with sudden lava flow. Huge gas acumulation makes the site a very dangerous place.
