For the week of February 12th I was at a race track in Japan for 5 out of the 7 days, traveling between Tsukuba and Motegi leading up to the peak of Japanese time attack; the Attack Tsukuba Championship. February 15th was the final Zummy Racing event before Attack officially kicked off with the practice even ton the 16th. I showed up to the track super early because it was only a half day event, ending at noon, so I wanted to ensure I had plenty of time to photograph the drivers. This event, contrary to the one on the 12th, was REALLY chill, with only 20 drivers have been registered. I really like track days like this because it gives me time to do my work, but also allows me to focus on my own personal experience; which doesn’t always happen with very busy events.
