Volcano forms huge delta on the ocean, its collapse likely to lead to explosions | La Palma, Spain

Residents of La Palma of Canary Islands continue to face problems as volcanic eruption continues on the island. Lava that entered the ocean has formed a huge delta of the size of 38 hectares. Researchers say that several tons of hydrochloric acid is being generated per day because of the volcano. The volcano that erupted almost three weeks has covered 430 hectares destroying over 1,000 homes.
