In the mid-12th century the Normans built a castle here on the site of a Roman Villa abandoned in the 5th century. The village is built around the 14th century and got its name from the castle. St. Andrew's Church is probably from the 12th century and of particular interest inside is the modified 15th-century faceless clock Castle Combe has been called 'The Prettiest Village in England'This English village features beautiful architecture and plenty of festive decorations to make your holiday season extra special.
