So, today we are out and about walking in the village of Stretton-on-Fosse which is nestled in between the towns of Moreton-in-Marsh and Shipston-on-Stour in the Stratford District in Warwickshire but also very close to the Gloucestershire Border. According to the 2011 census there was a population of 439. The word Stretton is derived from the meaning “settlement on a Roman road“ which in this case is the Fosse Way. The village house's a late 12th century church - St Peter, this is a grade II listed building. The village local pub is the Plough Inn which is of 17th century origins. There are no hidden OAAW logos within this video. Thanks for walking with me. #cotswolds #walkingtour #englishcountryside
