The thymus gland is located in the upper chest behind the sternum and lungs. It is responsible for producing many zinc-containing hormones which are used to create T-cells for immune, autoimmune, and endocrine health. Cortisol is a stress-related hormone. High levels of cortisol can lead to zinc deficiency, potentially leading to immune, autoimmune, and mood disorders. The heart chakra is located in the center of the chest, slightly above the heart. It is associated with love, compassion, and emotional balance. When aligned, it can lower stress levels and therefore, cortisol levels. I made the heart chakra bowl the foundation of this sound bath. It's accompanied by complimentary tuned singing bowls and tuning forks. Allow the heart frequency to wash over and cleanse your thymus. While complimentary chakras ensure energy flows freely throughout your body. I hope it brings you improved zinc absorption and T-cell production. You should feel the full effect within 30 minutes. You are welcome to listen for as long and as often as you'd like.
