Valentin Speranski, a former professor at the University of Saint Petersburg, who emigrated to Paris after the Revolution, visited Ekaterinburg in 1924 to give a series of lectures. While he was there, he held interviews with people of various political parties and stations, including the Bolsheviks, who had at one time any connection with the terrible events that had taken place there only six years earlier.
