The second song of the upcoming album. The song is inspired by the god Svantovít (Svetovid, Świętowit), who was the four-headed god of abundance and war, worshiped by the Polabian Slavs and probably also by other Western Slavs. With his cult is also associated a prophecy (proroctvo), which was supposed to predict the situation of the harvest and the war for the next year. After Christianization, his cult was probably replaced by svatý Vít (St. Vitus). Using sounds of traditional and early medieval instruments, live percussions, drums and vocals with combination of little influence of modern music makes Zbava's production energic, hard-hitting and spiritual at the same time. Trying to capture the feeling from the ancient deities, traditions and places, many of which have survived to present day. ---------------------------------- #slavic #paganmusic #neofolk #pagan #paganfolk #slavicmusic #medievalmusic #ambientmusic #slavs #folktronica pagan, pagans, paganism, heathen, folk, neofolk, folktronica, ambient, Slav, Slavs, Slavic folk, Slavic music, Slavic paganism, ancient Slavic culture, Slavic mythology, Slavic tribes, Czech music, medieval music, early medieval, ritual, Zbava, Perun, Veles, Svarog, Svarožic, Radegast, Mokoš, Morana, Vesna, Jarovít, Jarilo, Svantovít, Polednice, Slované, slovanská kultura, pohanství
