The fourth song from the upcoming album. Polednice (Poludnica, Přezpołdnica, Południówka) is Slavic female demon who walks around the fields at noon and punishes those who work on them at that time and also kidnaps naughty children. Polednice is known especially from the Czech, Slovak, Sorbian, Polish and Russian environment. She is most often described as young or old woman in white dress with sickle or whip in her hand. Spotify: Bandcamp: Instagram: Facebook: Support me: Zbava is one-person neofolk music project from the Czech Republic which is inspired by the ancient culture of Central and Eastern Europe. Using sounds of traditional and early medieval instruments, live percussions, drums and vocals with combination of little influence of modern music makes Zbava's production energic, hard-hitting and spiritual at the same time. Trying to capture the feeling from the ancient deities, traditions and places, many of which have survived to present day. ---------------------------------- #slavic #paganmusic #neofolk #pagan #paganfolk #slavicmusic #medievalmusic #ambientmusic #slavs #folktronica pagan, pagans, paganism, heathen, folk, neofolk, folktronica, ambient, Slav, Slavs, Slavic folk, Slavic music, Slavic paganism, ancient Slavic culture, Slavic mythology, Slavic tribes, Czech music, medieval music, early medieval, ritual, Zbava, Perun, Veles, Svarog, Svarožic, Radegast, Mokoš, Morana, Vesna, Jarovít, Jarilo, Svantovít, Polednice, Slované, slovanská kultura, pohanství
