Many newcomers enter the world of Shamisen with great interest in Tsugaru style. Quite reasonably, with little to no knowledge about Shamisen, when hearing terms like “Tsugaru Shamisen“ and “Nagauta Shamisen“, it's very easy to misunderstand playing styles for the instrument itself.
