Hello friends, I am sharing an 80 minute yin yoga practice filmed at my local, lovely yoga studio, Amana Yoga. I hope that on this New Year's day, you can find some time to let go of striving, goal making and doing to allow yourself to just be. As is. Goals are important; however, we often get caught up in the yang nature of “over-doing“ and the thought of “I will only be happy when I lose 10 lbs/make more money/get a promotion/etc...“ Spending time in a deeply meditative practice, like yin yoga, may help you realize you are already whole and that happiness is a state of mind you can choose. Give yourself permission to slow down. Go inside. Balance the yang with some yin.
