In b4 someone tells me I should have installed a locker instead of putting the stock spider gear open differential back in and upgraded to ZJ discs instead of redoing the drums. See instagram for more on the XJ: I’ve been restoring this old Jeep Cherokee for a few years now and started working on the underbody a few months ago. I figured I might as well get two birds stoned at once and make a video out of restoring / rebuilding the Chrysler rear axle. I’m pretty happy with how the rear end turned out considering how rusty it was before I started this restoration. I’m sure I’ll be able make at least a couple videos of restoring things in the front end of the Jeep in the near future if you guys are interested.
