M/S of the head and torso of a large bronze figure of Christ held in a reclining position outside a modern church, St Peter's Priory, in Hinckley, Leicestershire. The sculptor, Dr Arthur Fleischmann, comes into shot wearing a brown duffle coat and beret and dusts the figure with a large clean paintbrush. C/U of him brushing the face and head, and generally examining the whole figure. C/Us: panning shot of statue and the feet and hands; AF's hand smoothing over the surface. M/S of three men looking on as two men fix ropes under the arms of the statue and one signals for a crane to be lowered. M/S of Geoff Bellamy in the crane cab then C/U as they attach the crane hook to the ropes. C/U of GB in the crane, then shifting the hoist lever to 'raise' position. M/Ss of the statue being slowly raised to a standing position, with a group of men guiding it from the ground and a large crowd watching including a group of school children (all wearing school hats), and some nuns in habits. M/S of altar boys,
