Wally, a rescued and rehabilitated sea otter, enjoys a meal of red sea urchin and Dungeness crab. Sea otters, unlike other marine mammals, lack an insulating layer of blubber. Instead, they rely on their fur and high metabolism to keep warm. They eat over a quarter of their body weight every day.
