Thousands of Buddhist monks gathered in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, on Saturday to receive alms during a ceremony celebrating the province’s 193rd anniversary. Monks queued with black containers for donations and prayed in front of a Buddha statue, while local devotees and volunteers offered tributes in the square.
