Carrots are NOT bunnies main diet food. 🐰🥕 There is a common misconception that bunnies eat carrots all the time. It's not all about carrots. In reality, their main diet should consist of hay, which makes up about 80% of their food. Hay is important for their digestion and helps keep their teeth healthy.  Along with hay, bunnies should have a small portion of fresh vegetables, making up around 15% of their diet. These veggies provide important nutrients and variety in their meals. To complete their diet, bunnies should have about 5% of good-quality pellet food. These pellets are specially formulated to provide additional vitamins and minerals. It's important to remember that treats, like carrots, should only be given in moderation due to their high sugar content. It's all about balance and providing a well-rounded diet to keep our bunny buddies healthy and happy!
