Achari Paneer is a delicious Northern Indian dish. In this flavorful recipe, soft pieces of paneer are served in a creamy, masala gravy accentuated with pickle spices and tangy curd. The taste is similar to grilled Achari paneer tikka, but with soft paneer in a smooth, luxurious gravy. Ingredients quantity Mustard oil 2 tbsp Fenugreek seeds ¼ tsp Onion seeds ¼ seeds Cumin seeds ½ tsp Fennel seeds ¼ tsp Mustard seeds ½ tsp Asafoetida ½ tsp Onion chopped 2 no Paneer 250 gram Dry red chilli 3 no Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp Tomato chopped 2 no Salt to taste Water as required Coriander powder 1 tbsp Red chilli powder 1 ½ tsp Turmeric powder ¼ tsp Garam masala ½ tsp Mango pickle 2 tbsp Curd 2 tbsp Onion diced ½ no Red bell pepper diced ½ no Yellow bell pepper diced ½ no Green capsicum diced ½ no Ginger juliennes ½ inch Green chilli slit 2-3 no Fresh coriander chopped 1 tbsp Fresh coriander chopped for garnish Method:- 1. Take kadai on medium flame and heat the mustard oil. Add Fenugreek seeds, Onion seeds, Cumin seeds, Fennel seeds, Mustard seeds and sauté for a minute. 2. Add asafoetida, chopped onion and sauté on high flame for 5-6 minutes. 3. Now cut paneer into cubes and take it out in a bowl. 4. Add dry red chilli, ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute. 5. Now add chopped tomato, salt and saute for 2 minute. 6. Add water, Coriander powder, Red chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Garam masala and sauté for 2-3 minute. 7. Take a mixer jar and add mango pickle in it and grind finely. 8. Now add curd, pickle paste, diced onion, diced red bell pepper, diced yellow bell pepper, diced green capsicum, ginger julienne, slit green chillies and sauté for 3 minutes. 9. Finally add paneer cubes, chopped fresh coriander and mix well. 10. Take out in a serving plate and garnish with chopped coriander.
