Become A Commercial Pilot in 9 months The Cirrus private jet. Also known as the Vision SF50 jet, is a single-engine very light jet designed and produced by Cirrus. This is a single pilot jet that can carry up to 7 people and travel a decent distance. Powered by a Williams FJ33 turbofan, the all-carbon fiber, low-wing, seven-seat Vision SF50 is pressurized, cruises at 300 knots (345 mph) and has a range of 1,200 nautical miles. Cirrus private jet is also well equpped with a Garmin avionics panel with auto-land and has a whole-airframe ballistic parachute. Last month a Cirrus private jet went down in Indiana, but the sole pilot on board was safe due to the ballistic parachute that guided the airplane down.
