There are moments in life that are surreal... BASE jumping is widely regarded as the most dangerous sport in the world. When a jumper adds a little creativity to danger, you get the phenomenon we call “blade running.” Once the jumper gets to the top of this 200ft wind turbine, he makes the walk of his life. After getting his bearings, he calmly yet gingerly steps onto the stalled - but still movable - blade. In an almost surreal action, he walks nearly the entire length of the 150ft blade. But, at the point of no return his forward motion starts to make the massive blade move beneath his feet. Now that the blade is going down, the athlete can no longer turn back, and he jumps!
