Shimmering Arcturus silently watched the construction of the then first orbital platform. Very soon the Horizon which you so wanted to get to will become the brightest point on the star field. You, who told me about the constellations above our heads, interstellar travel and other civilizations to the occasional night singing of a blackbird and dreamed of one day leaving Earth and going somewhere there. I returned to this margin almost every night for a year. But neither of them heard the blackbird again. The domes of Earth-Legacy will one day be opened. All that diversity of life will again spill out into empty fields and woodlands bringing that quite comfort of scarlet day dawn I dream about every night. One day.
