A fun trip with friends turned out to be a nightmare for Mumbai-based chartered accountant Aanvi Kamdar’s family when she fell into a gorge from the waterfalls and died while making reels. The incident took place in Maharashtra’s Raigad district. The 27-year-old content creator, who was on a monsoon outing with seven friends, fell into the 300-foot-deep gorge near the famous Kumbhe waterfall at Mangao while making a video on Tuesday, a police official said. While making a video of the scenic surroundings, she slipped and fell into the gorge, he said. The police and locals managed to reach the accident spot, rescued her and rushed Kamdar to the nearby Mangaon taluka government hospital, where she died during treatment, said the official. “She fell on the hard, slippery patch of rocks around 300ft into the valley and couldn’t be spotted initially.
