Nemanja Radulović discusses his new album featuring J.S. Bach, where he explores different sides of the composer's character through three contrasting concertos: the Violin Concerto in E Major, the Double Concerto for Oboe and Violin, and a transcription for violin of the Keyboard Concerto in D Minor. He is joined by his ensemble Double Sens, with special guests Philippe Jaroussky (countertenor), Sébastien Giot (oboe), and Stéphanie Fontanarosa (harpsichord). Listen to more music by Nemanja Radulović here: Radulović explains his vision to present Bach not just as a strong, serious composer, but as someone who embraced life and its complexities. The album’s “musical family“ is completed by four shorter pieces: the sublime “Erbarme dich“ from the St Matthew Passion, featuring Jaroussky; a viola transcription of the Prelude from the Cello Suite No. 1; a Sicilienne in A Minor; and the lively Badinerie from the Orchestral Suite No. 2, where Radulović's violin takes on the flute's role. Filmed in 2024 at La Seine Musicale, Paris. __________ Warner Classics ► Website: Subscribe to our: ► YT- Channel: ► Newsletter Follow us on: ► Facebook: ► Instagram: ► Twitter: ► YouTube: @WarnerClassics Listen to us on: ► Spotify: ► Apple Music: ► Deezer Warner Classics is the home of classical music, featuring iconic high audio quality recordings from the greatest classical legends, opera stars and orchestras of the last century.
