The Serbian-Franco violinist Nemanja Radulović gives concerts worldwide. Musica Maestra Alondra de la Parra meets Nemanja Radulović in Brisbane, Australia. They talk about Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35, his training with Dejan Mihailović, who studied in Moscow with David Oistrakh, and his international career. Another big topic is Nemanja Radulović's childhood. He was born in 1985 in Yugoslavia (today Serbia) and moved to Paris after the Kosovo war, where he studied with Patrice Fontanarosa at the Conservatoire de Paris. At the end of the conversation Nemanja Radulovićs spontaneously plays a Serbian piece of music to Alondra de la Parra and together they even dance. Alondra de le Parra is a Mexican conductor. She was born in New York and raised in Mexico. She started her piano studies at age seven. Alondra de la Parra got her musical education in Mexico City and New York. In 2015, she became the music director of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in Australia. She was the first female principal conductor of an Australian symphony orchestra.
