Pure 12 volts DC off grid cooking with Kitchen Grade appliances - NO Inverter! This is a glimpse at the future of DC-powered off electrical grid cooking. I will present a demonstration of 2 simple and robust 12 volt ovens and a true kitchen grade 12 volt cooktop (or hotplate) running off of a 200 amp hour LiFePo4 battery supplied by Power Queen for test and review. My goal in the research conducted here in my Solar Workshop is to simplify and improve off electrical grid solar power utilization. I also want to promote simple and robust technology that will be necessary to survive future challenges and hardships. DC-AC inverters are complex pieces of electronics that are costly and likely to fail. Cooking without a DC to AC inverter is more efficient, lowers cost, and is less failure prone. In addition to that, this setup did not use a charge controller, but that research will be covered separately in another video - stay tuned. LiFePo4 is a very efficient lithium ion battery chemistry, almo
